Applications:
High pressure regulators are mostly pressure reducers with gas type specific cylinder connection for connection to compressed gas cylinders and are used for compressed gases to reduce the respective cylinder pressure and to keep the set outlet pressure constant. Our spring-loaded high pressure regulators as well as our dome pressure regulators are also available as line pressure rereglator. Especially for applications with oxygen up to 300bar our line pressure reducers and cylinder pressure regulators have a BAM-approval.
Application areas:
High pressure regulators for technical gases and high purity gases up to a gas purity of 5.0 are used for applications in production plants or in the medical or chemical industry. In particular, pressure regulators with high outlet pressures are used in pressure test benches and for pressure testing of piping systems.

Our high pressure regulators are available in different versions. In addition to the various pressure ratings, our high-pressure regulators are available in brass or stainless steel as well as in versions with upstream pressure compensation.
HD30 cylinder pressure regulator / 1-stage
With the cylinder pressure regulator HD30 an inlet pressure of max. 300 bar to an outlet pressure of max. 30 bar reduced and kept constant. The HD30 pressure regulator is available in brass for non-corrosive gases.
HD50 – HD200 cylinder pressure regulator / 1-stage
With the bottle pressure regulator of the series HD50 to HD200 an input pressure of
max. 300 bar will be reduced at an output pressure of max. 200 bar and kept constant. The series of HD50 to HD200 pressure regulators is available in brass for non-corrosive gases.
HD250 / HD400 high pressure regulator / 1-stage
With the pressure regulator of the series HD250 or HD400, an inlet pressure of max. 440 bar can be reduced to an outlet pressure of max. 400 bar and kept constant. The HD250 or the HD400 pressure regulator is available in brass for non-corrosive gases and in stainless steel for corrosive gases.
D und DH ½“ bis 2“ dome pressure regulator / 1-stage / with pressure compensation
With the single-stage dome pressure regulator of the D and DH series with nominal diameters from ½” to 2″ an inlet pressure of max. 420 bar can be reduced to an outlet pressure of max. 400 bar. Due to the integrated inlet pressure compensation, the outlet pressure is kept constant even with fluctuating inlet pressures. The D and DH series line pressure regulators are available in brass for non-corrosive gases and in stainless steel for corrosive gases.
Our dome pressure regulators can be optionally equipped with a pilot pressure reducer as a control pressure regulator (PID½” to PID2″ – series) or with a proportional valve. Hornung dome pressure regulators are available for oxygen applications with BAM approval. The valves are configured individually according to your requirements with corresponding accessories and options ready for installation.
